(Don't pay attention to the spelling or punctuation. He has to type on a Spanish keyboard and has very limited time. Today he didn't even have time to read emails so he took pictures of them so he could read them later.)
so today we got to go to the temple! it was so awesome! seriously like the coolest experience ever. it is so beautiful and the ...guy next to me spoke Quechan or how ever it is spelled. it was so awesome. its amazing how the church is the same everywhere you go and no matter what language you speak you can feel the spirit just the same. it is quite the cool feeling.
here at the MTC we have two sacred days of the week. the obvious first is
the Sabbath, while the next is Pday. pday is the best. we also have set pday as
the day that we can freely relate stories from home, all over days is a no.
except we all do anyway. i wish i could send some pictures from here to
show what it is like! its so cool. Spanish is super hard if any of you are
wanting to learn another language, but if the Lord wants you to learn it, it
makes it a lot easier! thats for sure. ive learned so much. when i left i was
literally at ground zero. its amazing how much you can learn when the Lord is on
your side.
On quick thought, as ive been reading the Book of Mormon a lot,
i was reading through Heleman twelve the other day and i came accross 12:7-8. i
really thought about this and it is quite a profound scripture. it says we are
less then the dust because even the dust will move and change by the command of
God. as i was thinking about this i just thought it was really neat. Obediance
is the first law in heaven. that means it is pretty important! we are God's most
precious creation. yet we choose to not always be obediant.
another from 3 nephi, 17: 2-3 is when christ is visiting the nephites. but anyway, after he had taught them many things and shown himself unto tthem, he still tells them to go
and pray to the Father bout those things. how cool is that. everyone always
wants that huge spiritual experiance, but even after seeing Jesus, he still
tells them to go pray for their own maifesation of the spirit. that shows how
important it is to have the simple testiment of the spirit to build our
testimonies. anyway, life's great here! im on a mission, so thats cool.
Love you all
