before everything that actually has some sort of importance... i want to state that last pday we played soccer with a bunch of elders from 2 differnet zones and i scored 4 goals! BOOM im latino! except they were ALL with my head, and only because im and substaintually taller here... haha but it was super fun. Even here i get called Yorgi. i dont know what it is, it follows me everywhere.
anyway... this sunday was the BOMB! yesterday, wow. anyway. so i finally actually gave a talk in church. it took almmost 5 months haha. it was about the work of salvation. before hand i prepared for maybe 10 minutes because of the shortness of the notice, and yeah. so therefore i sent up a little prayer that id be able to give the talk and have people understand... haha cause thats the real challenge, is the understanding part, i can talk, but it doesnt always make sense... well it makes sense in my brain, but yeah anyway... I didnt even have to read i thing i had written down and it flowed. it was so cool. half way through the thought came to my head "these words feel cool comeing out of my mouth"haha. and then the Bishop got up and refrenced my talk like 8 times, which was cool.
also... we had 2 comfirmations yesterday! Lenyn and Genadyne. cause genadyne was actually baptized on a sunday and Lenyn had some family thing come up and could come the week before. but now they are both officailly members of the church!
we had an awesome lesson with a woman named Gloria and her daughter betsy. they are inactive memebrs. and wow, it was an awesome lesson. at first it was just like any other lesson, and then she just opened right up and wow, shes had some rough times i tell you what. her husband is a dink and cheats and such an im not really sure if he is still around, her son drinks a bunch and she was wronged in some pretty unsatisfactory ways from a member and she hasnt been to church in 2 years... well it turned to an awesome discussion of Christ and i cant even describe the spirit that was there. then she said that she knows we were supposed to come to her house that day right when we did. she was about to leave. she commiited to go to church for he first time in 2 years!!!!!!! she said in her prayer at the end, thanks (to God) for sending your angels to hear me and help in these elders. it was literally one of the coolest lessons ever.
yojana is progressing! she recieved an answer! but she doest seem to be able to see it as the spirit... so we ae working on that. we asked her how she felt at church (she attended by the way) and when she prayed and she perfectly descriped the spirit! but yeah... she i think thats what we'll be working on teaching ha. shes awesome though.
anyway thats this week. IT ALMOST CHRISTMAS! what.... im so excited haha.
anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS! remember why we have Christmas, why we celebrate and why we give, cause these things are good, but we should always remember its because of our Savior and the gift he gave us!
