Christmas here was pretty neat i suppose... ha! well there are no lights here for christmas. except for one street in SAlcedo, gardenias. and wow, the lights there were nuts! they went all out! it was seriously super cool to walk down. and apparently that street has a lot more money then everywhere else.
so for christmas here they do fireworks at midnight, kind of like new years ha! but it was actually super cool. we went up on the roof and they were going off everywhere in every single direction! and they were big ones too. it was so nuts, it went on for about 30 minutes straight. several we watched twirl down and explode on the people who had set them off!
Christmas itself was pretty cool. we had lunch with this family in the ward, they are seriously th e best. and it was with there whole extended family and everything. anyway we go have lunch with them in this field, and then we played some soccer with them on this rough feild with goals made out of rocks stacked on top of each other. it was the coolest. it made me miss being with family back home a bit. i didnt appreicate those times as much as i should have ha. it was awesome though, super cool, and way fun!
anyway, Yojana! wow i am super excited for the future for her! so we had two lessons. the first one i was really sad after. she has a ton of fear about joining the church, and i think mostly for the social aspect. she pretty much took like 10 steps back... but we had another lesson later this week and wow, she like took off without even knowing it! she said she believed the Book of Mormon was true! like what, thats like the whole deal right there! we had and awesome lesson with her about the book of mormon and joseph smith and such and she said she would be baptized!... but she is too scared to pick a date for now, but wow, thats the whole key of everything we teach is the book of mormon! so thats exciteing!
but yeah, i cant believe it was christmas already... oh and today is 5 months... so thats kind of coool i guess.
life is good and yeah, peace
