Week 24

well it was my first full work with Gonzabay and well we didnt have a ton of people to work with. so we went to work finding new people and my goodness this week has been pretty awesome.

but before i want to acknowlegde that Caleb is done with the MTC, so thats like the coolest thing ever!

anyway, this week was the best and i know im probably going to end up leaveing something super cool out.

anyway, so i ahd a change and switched rooms and people that i work with cause i had the weirest change in the world and still work in the same area ha. so this made me a bit sad just cause i miss those people. but when i see them its awesome cause we still have a solid relationshiop and i saw Yojana at a home evening and we had a super awesome conversation and i think she has a recently increased desire to find the truth and is more willing to do those things we tell her to help her find out for herself. we has pretty solid trust which is awesome cause she is so timid with everyone.

so as i said we went to work finding news. well by the end of the week, with much contacting and even knocking door, which we dont do in this mission, we now have 6 solid investigators, and i am so excited. weve had such awesome lessons with all of them that i cant even describe them all except that they ALL have an actual desire to know the truth for themselves and it is so cool! some are already super close to making the first step of becoming a member. you know an investigator is good when they say that the next appointment can be tomorrow... and then theyre there!. Salcedo is seriously the best place in the world. except our shower is solar and there isnt much sun this time of year do to rain... so its cold, that lkike the only downside. ha!

also i made a goal with Gonzabay that by the end of this change ill be just wonderous in Spanish. i can do what i need to,but i just want it to flow, and i feel like a poop nugget when i have to think super hard about what to say. anyway there has been a lot of improvement just this week. i told him to correct me always, cause past comps have been afraid to i think. so ive already improved alot and it cool.

anyway... the coolest thing ever.

we had an appointment with Laura. she is contact we had at 630 in the morning because we were walking to the park because we were told that that is whena nd where we could find a less acitve member weve been trying to find. well instead we found laura, aldo (fat short guy who is the funniest guy i think ive ever met), and Jimsins who is a different less active who is just a stud. anyway, both him and his two friends are now progressing and awesome. but the ironic thing is this story is not about Laura. we were looking for her house which is in Jalliwailla, the huge area that is behind the mountain that is also part of our secotr that we never work in because we have a ton of people here in rinconada and salcedo, anyway, addresses here mean almost nothing and well we couldnt find her house... poop right. well as we were making the long track back to slacedo we saw a man about 40 years old, out side of his smale concrete home playing with his 3 or 4 kids. well naturally we went to talk to him. in which and member who was with us, Claudia, shouted, do you have time? well thats usually a big no no! you dont give them the chance to back out until after youve started! ha! anyway, we proceeded to talk to this guy and my word he is goiung to be a stake president and the bishop of the first ward to be formed in Jalliwailla. he is like the most amazing guy i have ever met. he knew the bible like none other, yet he is not a member of any religion becaus ehe cant understand how there are so many churches and they all have the smae bible yet different teaching and such... sound like someone else in the 1800s... well we taught the restoration and wow, it was awesome! when i showed him james one five he about fell over! ha! he was like, wow! that is interesting, when can i do that? anyway, by the end of the lesson he said that he is going to pray and ask of God and if he gets his anwser he will join our church. also he said he felt like we were sent from God and that when we talk he feels like God is talking to him... it was like the coolest thing of my whole mission, no doubt. his name is Andres. i cant wait to see what comes with him.

so yeah, that was one of the coolest experiances of my life. it was us that recignized that we were being used as intruments in the Lords hand, it was Andres. it just exploded my testimony like hundered times over. it wasnt by chance that we found Andres, and if you want to be happy, serve the Lord, there is nothing like the feeling after that lesson that yeah, i was in the right place for the Lord.

anyway, i hope all is well at home! ha, all is well here!
