First off,
we had a baptism this week!
her name is kelly. and she has a solid testimony. she was almost baptized a few months ago but she left to arequipa for 2ish months and she that kind of prevented her baptism.
but we returned, we were able to teach her a bit more than before and she asked us when she could be baptised. so that was like the coolest deal ever.
also, verancia. we have been teaching her for almost 2 months now. and she has progressed a ton. and she had her interveiw this saturday! and my son is going to baptized her! if thats not the coolest thing ever i dont know what is. it will be his frist baptism. hes pretty nervous haha.
the work in salcedo is moving and i love it here in Salcedo. no one can believe im actually still here, but i tell you what, if there is an area to have time like that, its in salcedo. we've been contacting like crazy, and realy not been gaining a ton of new investigators. but weve found a couple and we are going to be doing all we can to help them progress.
one inparticular was pretty cool. one contact. we were walking up the street when we saw a member and went to talk to them. on our way to talk to them i noticed a girl sitting outside her door. i had a very distinct thought that we needed to talk to her. so after talking with the member we turned right around and started talking. turns out her name is kelly and she couldnt get into her house because her key had been bent. and even better to break the ice i tried to bend it back and it snapped right in two! well we proceeded to talk and then gave all of leccion one. and then her mom showed up in her van and we started talking with her! then we find out it is a family of 6 people who live in the house and she is willing to visit with us! but then we find out that they are moving next week.... and then (lots of and thens.. sorry, just imagine the emontional roller coaster of these few mintues) we find out they are moving to Jaylliawaylla, which is part of our sector, and we are going to help them move. AWESOME.
anyway, my comp and i are great, we stay up late talking sometimes, which maybe is bad, but its cool too cause that means we/re freinds ha.
lovin life, the church is true.
also i gave a talk in church yesturday with 2 min notification. and it was really cool. the things and scriptures i needed to share came as i needed them, and so thats a blessing right there,
make good choices!
