well... its been just another week in paradise, let me tell ya! actually it really has been great,. the only real downfall is that we have been without a shower or bathroom since the second day that i arrived. so we stink sometimes because we depend upon members to offer u showers at this point. also we were going to find a new place to live but alas there is a lot of approval required to move so we might be stuck in this situation for some more time. i think i am on day four without a shower.... luckily it has rained the last few days! ha!
anyway, weve been getting to work though! we walk everywhere all the live long day, and we have been getting a ton of lessons. all of which were with less actives, thats what the work is about here. we have one or two maybe investagtors, we have an appointiment this coming week, one thing about appointments and the people here is the people just dont know how to say no, so they set up an appointment and then are purposely gone at that time. it drives me nuts! ha. so well see how that goes.
we have made some real progress with some less actives though. we had one who we went and picked up for church, weve taught three lessons with him so far, anyway so he came with us and then he was about to leave when finally some of the priest came and took him in and went to class with him. and that very day he was ordained a priest! he alomst left. it was the first time i had seen a real smile on that kids face! it was so cool. members are so important in missionary work. i couldnt have kept him much longer with my pitifull spanish. anyway so that was awesome!
but yeah, thats the mission life, you get to see people experiance something youve always had, for the first time, its so cool. anyway, love yall!
