well, this has been one nuts crazy week! it was my first change in the mission field and it was crazy.
first off the sister are no longer here, they got a change and are gone and i am no longer in the Puno Central zone... i am in the exact same place but the boundries of the zone got changed and we are now a part of the Juli zone... and hour and a half away. so its really weird cause we are still part of the puno central stake, cause we live here and our ward is part of it. so we are part of two zones almost, in a way. it also costs a ton to get a bus going to Juli. so therefore our trips to juli will be quite limited.
on the bright side we now live in the sisters old home! we have a shower!... and its hot! it is the nicest thing i have ever beheld. we live with members who are only home friday night to sunday night, and we can use their microwave... and i might even be able to talk them into letting us use there oven once or twice. seriously, we now live in the best home i will probable ever have, says my comp.
we now have new elders here in our area, one from peru and the other from some other latin country, i cant remember.
oh, we also now have the sisters old pension... and she cooks really good. i love the food. still only get lunch, but thats just fine with me!
so weve been searching for people to teach and praying and it turns out that sometimes, without even realizing it, God will put people in your path. we were on a bus, going to get pizza one night for an elders birthday, and we were sitting in the front with the driver, because that is always most desorable above all other seats because then you dont have to deal with the 600 overwieght people all trying to sqeezing into the bus. anyway, we were having a great converstaion with this driver, Eddy, he is probably about 24ish... anyway he is an awesome guy. he even said he wanted to go come to church with us! we left and that was the end...
but then we saw him again, but as we were just about to go to Juli for a meeting with the zone, so we couldnt really talk, but he brought up the church thing. he seems so really and prepared to hear everything, rhe only problem is we need to find hime outside of the bus deal, and all i know is that he lives somewhere in salcedo... so, we will be looking for him.
but that is basically this week. spanish is getting better but still not really good ha. bur yeah, crazy stuff!
