so this was an interesting week. i dont really feel like a ton happened and i dont feel like i have a ton to fill yall in on or anything. it was a good week for the most part. it was pretty cool. i enjoyed it.
my son didnt have as great as a week. he got altitude sickness he thinks on saturday. it was al normal but then he just started to deteriorate right before my eyes. he kept saying he was ok, but i basically forced him to go back to the room, ha. which about the instant we made it back to the room, he bagan throwing up. so that was way fun. in other words that took out visiting people for the day... kinda sad cause we actually had appointments the whole day. so yeah, kinda a bummber but ya know, its better to not throw up in peoples house too. so yeah. i got some good studying in on the bright side. im really glad that i have yet to be sick and out of commission.
so that was fun, i felt bad for him. welcome to the mission my son.
anyway, so this week we had interviews with president. and it was awesome! we had classes with the APs while waiting for the interviews because there are 24 in my zone here in puno central, and so 10 min with each missionary takes quite a long time. and i actually learned a lot in these classes/activities, ill coime back to that later. anyway, so interviews with president were pretty cool. he is like the coolest guy in the world. im a fan. and so our talk was pretty awesome as well. i wish i got to talk with him one on one more often because its just a feast for the mind of insight and knowlegde and i love it.
anyway, the classes we worked a lot on and studied a lot in PMG about how to begin teaching and obtaining references. or i think in english missions its referals or something wierd like that. but in our planners here it says referencias, which is definitly reference. so yeah. so elder bustamante and i have been trying really hard to actually incorrporate (havent used that word in a while, and i like that word so i am going to look that up tonight so i can use it) the things we worked on in contacting and in our lessons. and wow, its amazing how if you actually do what the PMG/scriptures say, you can actually find out for yourself how they help! crazy thought of the day, do what the word of God tells you to do. so we have really be focusing on our how to begin teaching so that we could actually teach the people in ways that they can actually relate to to better help them progress. well we had a lesson yesturday that was just top notch. we just started out talking and giving insights to our lives so that she could have better trust in us and asking her simple but sincere questions and she opened right up about about 8ish mintues and after we were able to give a really awesome lesson of the restauracion that appiled specifically to her. and she seemed really eager to read the BOM and pray about it. it was actually really awesome and i was a big fan. afterwards, we both knew it was good, and as we were walking down the street we had a solid fist bump and it was really tender.
Also, we have 2 investiagters who are progressing a ton and thats exciting, we.ll see were that takes us.
sad news, blanca cant accept chapter 4 of nefi where nefi kills laban. and she has taken 10000 steps back becuse of it so that made me super super sad this week. like i just got shot in the heart right there. so right now we really just need to help her gain that spiritual witness specifically of the BOM.
i guess theres some other stuff too, but my fingers are tired and my face is sunburnt, not that that has anything to do with anything, and so yeah, this week was cool, also when all else fails, bare testimony and do it sincerly, and the whole atmosephere in the room will change, and the spirit will fill you completely and it is one of the coolest things in the world. there is no better way to confirm your own testimony than to feel the spirit filll you up and work through you.
youre all cool
