so this week was pretty awesome, thats for sure! so as i
said before every 2 weeks we get to go teaching with the missionaries out in
the city to real people! so that was awesome. i went with a misionary who has
been out for 15 months. his name is elder Lee from logan ut. he was awesome,
everyone who lived in the area knew him and would come say hi, member or not.
it was awesome! anyway, so i got to teach 3 lessons with him, the first was to
a nonmember and her son, and the othertwo were inactive members. it was so
cool. ive never really been able to see the what its like to share a real
message with someone before and to know that they felt the spirit. you can
actually see the change! its so cool! my spanish is pretty bad but thats how i
know that it is ture, the church, because even when my spanish is not really
all that comprehendable, the spirit is and it can be felt.
oh and there are lots of dogs and i had to get dog poo
from off my shoes, so that was fun. and i cant believe what these people live
in! my word. on how we went to wasa 8X20 foot concrete box with boxes stacked to
where you could hardly walk through a narrow passage to the back corner where
there was on light and a bed tucked within. and antoher was just a concrete
foundation dug into the side of a mountian and the whole thing was open to the
world save it was the roof which consisted of 2X4 beams holding up thin sheets
on metal. its nuts!
anyway, i cant wait till i can go do that every day,
tyhat wiilll be so cool. being able to actually help people and share what we
have. its weird to think that we{ve had this knowlegde our whole lives and these
people have no clue! so yeah theres that.
missions great, tiring, and spanish is hard.
